Copper Saucepan Céracuivre

The word "saucepan" (French: "casserole") is derived from Latin and means something like "spoon" or "ladle". In fact, the form of a saucepan vaguely reminds of a spoon: a recess (today the actual pot) at the end of a long handle.

In addition, copper has long been used as a material for cookware and is still popular among chefs around the world because it has excellent heat conductivity properties and looks very beautiful thanks to its warm, reddish colour.

With its cookware collection "Céracuivre", the French company BAUMALU has succeeded in combining traditional cookware with modern high-tech features. Pots, pans, saucepans and other cooking vessels made of copper have a coating that consists of extremely solid and scratchproof special ceramic that has excellent non-stick properties: Greblon® Ceram, which is based on minerals and free from PTFE and PFOA. Thanks to its toughness, this non-stick coating is both durable and easy to clean. The non-sticking properties prevent the food from scorching or caking on the pan quickly and, as a result, make it possible to cook with only a small amount of fat, for example when roasting beef or poultry for a tasty ragout or a beef-vegetable-hotpot.

The saucepan of the "Céracuivre" collection is available in three different sizes and has a respective capacity of 1.5 liters, 2.1 liters or 3 liters.

5 from 5 Céracuivre Pan Review

Céracuivre 20cm

I never knew how much of a difference even heating made but when you look in it you can see its all bubbling in a uniform way, it heats up really fast too. It just looks looks like its doing things right to me. This is my first copper cookware, I use an electric stove and it makes a difference. I am sure with a gas range that even better results and control would be possible. The inner diameter is a hair over 20cm, 200.09mm :) I measured to see if an old lid would work. I hope you find my review helpful.
