Cuisine Romefort is the first private label of Gourmet-Web and stands for the best quality at reasonable prices. Monsieur Romefort has been a knife sharpener for many years and has incorporated his know-how and his preferences into the Cuisine Romefort Chefmesser 22 cm. To match this knife, he has had a calfskin bag produced, which elegantly adorns the knife and also provides the best protection. The leather case is handcrafted in Thiers, the Solingen of France in the Auvergnes, by a handwork company of two women who have specialized in leather cases for knives.

The Cuisine Romefort leather case is reddish brown and matches the colours of the rosewood knife handle. The fat tanning makes the bag for the blade a natural, greasy environment. The razor-sharp carbon blade is thus protected and secured. A flap, which is fastened with a button, offers the knife firm hold and prevents it from slipping out of the cover. When you take the knife case in your hand, you will immediately notice the fine workmanship. The cuts of the leather, as well as the seam, are set precisely.

Due to the fat tanning, some fat in the form of white residues can emerge from the case. To remove these, simply wipe the case with a dry cloth. Alternatively, you can place the calf's liver bag on a warm heater, as the heat will draw in the fat again.
